Sasafrass bowl was first turned on a lathe and then had rings cut into the rim.  Those rings were then divided into 60 segments by wood-burning, creating the ‘bricks’.  The bricks were then highlighted with shades of green and turquoise. The bowl measures approximately 10 7/8” in diameter by 1 7/8” tall
